Clenbuterol is not an anabolic androgenic steroid. It’s a sympathomimetic amine that triggers a number of actions in the sympathetic nervous system, a component of the central nervous system.
Sympathomimetic amines are also known as adrenergic amines or drugs, which trigger or stimulate a number of automatic body system functions.
Sympathomimetic amines are commonly used as frontline treatments for asthma and COPD.
The mechanism of action of the drug dilates or relaxes the smooth tissues that line the inside of the bronchi found inside the lungs.

Clenbuterol is often used in a two day on/two day off cycle for approximately 3 weeks, then is discontinued for the same number of weeks.
Before considering Clenbuterol to increase oxygen intake, which can be important during a workout and for post-workout recovery, be aware that over-reliance on products like Clenbuterol can contribute to psychological addictive states.
